This centrally located hostel was opened in 2008 and offers a lot of facilities not normally found at a hostel. The hostel is just 1.5 km from the station.

The reception is open all day. Here you find a restaurant, where Italian dishes are served, and on the roof terrace there is a bar.

The breakfast buffet consists of hot and cold drinks, toast bread, butter, marmelade, yoghurt, muesli, ham, and cheese. Luggage may be stored at the hostel, and there are laundry facilities which may be used at an extra charge. The hostel has free Internet access. Furthermore, there is a pool, sauna, and turkish baths at PLUS Florence Hostel.

PLUS Hostel Florence has 400 beds. You will be staying in 7-8 bed dorms with showers and toilets. 4-6 bed rooms are also an option, but cost more. Bed linen is included, but towels must be brough from home or rented for 3 Euros.
  • A+: Very nice hotel standard and high comfort, 3- or 4-star hotels with extensive facilities.
  • A: Good tourist class hotels with private facilities in the rooms. Most likely also TV, Wi-Fi and other facilities.
  • B+: Very good youth hotels with wide range of facilities or ordinary tourist class hotels. All rooms with private facilities.
  • B: Youth hotels of reasonable standard. Most rooms have private facilities.
  • C: Hostels or simple youth hotels, often with shared facilities.
