Located on Ecuador's famous beach of Montanita, you can study Spanish with a stunning view of the beach right from your classroom. The excellent, friendly teachers and staff are waiting to make your experience learning Spanish in Ecuador a fantastic one, 20 hours of Spanish and 5 surf lessons are included this week.

What to do in your free time
For sure surf is one of the most popular activities, but beach sports are a must. Join other beachgoers for a game of soccer or volleyball on the sand. Another popular pastime is yoga, and you’ll find plenty of people practicing their downward dog or mountain pose in the quieter areas of the beach.
Two hours from Montañita by boat you’ll find the Isla de la Plata. It is the home of hundreds of bird species like the blue-footed booby or the frigate bird. The tours often include snorkeling or diving in the zone. You can book a tour with a reliable agency in the town of Montañita itself. The island can also be toured on foot, but only in the company of qualified guides.
Diving and snorkeling are available, and the warm, equatorial waters of Montañita are the perfect place to spot exotic fish species and marine wildlife. Between July and November there are boat tours to see humpback whales, which make the journey all the way from Antarctica to mate and give birth in the warm waters off Ecuador’s coast.

We have accommodation especially for our students - the cabanas. An oasis of tranquility located just 5 minutes from the school, 3 minutes from the town centre and 2 minutes from the beach. Nestled into the relaxed atmosphere of ‘Barrio Tigrillo’ these cabanas provide the best of both worlds, being moments away from the centre of the action and providing the peace and tranquility needed to make the most of your time in Montanita. Just outside the door of your cabana you will find a swimming pool, jacuzzi, large communal kitchen and a large sitting area with a TV and DVD.
The shared mini dorms are the perfect option for those looking to for high quality accommodation on a budget. Keeping true to the rustic look of Montanita, our dorm rooms are all large and spacious allowing you to soak up the peaceful ambiance while saving those hard earned $$. With the options of either 6 bed or 4 bed dorms you will not have problems maintaining some personal privacy. However, if you would rather have your own space, a private option is available.
