7 Day Red Island Surf Camp Adventure

Meet at the Mojosurf Camp Canggu by 07:30. Our address is: Jl. Pantai Batu Bolong No.78, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 08456.

Group transport leaves at 08:00 every Sunday in our Mojosurf Van. We drive to the Gilimanuk Harbour for a quick boat ride to Ketapan Harbour, then drive to our Red Island Surf Camp located in the beautiful jungle of East Java. We make a quick stop for lunch/snack (at your cost) before embarking on the ferry. The trip to Red Island is about 7 hours long.

For those who are keen, jump on the optional sunset surf lesson or just relax, revive, and get ready for your first surf lesson the next morning. We spend the next 4 nights in the Mojosurf Camp at Red Island livin’ the dream just a few meters from our epic strip of remote beach tucked away in the jungle.

We’re up early for breakfast and a surf lesson. In the afternoon, you can grab a board and practice your surf skills, hang at the beach or by the pool, relax in a hammock, or even get a massage (at an extra cost). Come evening, many choose to enjoy a beverage while watching the amazing sunset and have a fun night with the Red Island crew. By now you should truly be starting to immerse yourself in the surf camp lifestyle. There is also the opportunity for a G-land day trip, the Ijen volcano sunrise hike to see the famous blue fire, and other local attractions/tours (at extra costs organised at the camp). Just ask one of the Mojo Crew and they’ll set you up!

Wake up early for your final surf lesson at sunrise. Once back to camp, rinse off, grab breakfast, then pack up for check out and the trip back to Canggu. The Mojosurf Van will take you back to Mojosurf Canggu, or your accommodation in Canggu; be sure to organize with a Red Island Manager if you need to be dropped off somewhere other than our Canggu Surf Camp.

Please note that the itinerary is subject to change depending on surf conditions and/or Balinese religious holidays. We are not able to run surf lessons on 11 March 2024 and 29 March 2025 due to a public holiday in Bali (Nyepi Day).
