This trip is all about culture, tradition and relaxation. Known for its picturesque landscape, temples and artists, Ubud is a great place from which to explore central Bali. It is also a place where you can learn more about its deep-rooted Hindu tradition mixed with abundance of arts.
A cycling tour takes you around the rice fields and villages near Ubud with friendly farmers smiling and greeting you as paddle past them. Then continue to Sanur for relaxation, one of Bali’s southern famous beach destinations, with long white sandy beaches, friendly locals and a nice beach-side road to stroll around.

4 Days - South Bali via Ubud to Sanur

Day 1: Pick-Up South Bali & Transfer to Ubud

Today you will go from South Bali to Ubud. On the way, enjoy the view of traditional village and as you enter Ubud, feel the artsy vibe as you drive to your hotel.

Backpacker: Nick’s Pension or similar
Comfort: Sri Aksata or similar

Meals not included
Travel time: Approximately 2 hours

Day 2: Half Day Cycling Tour

You will be picked up at your accommodation in the morning, and driven to the starting point of this cultural cycling trip in Tampaksiring. Pay attention to the safety instructions before hopping on your bike. Along the route you will enjoy an abundance of rice field views, a sacred village temple, traditional Balinese compounds and an 11th century temple that is used for specific ceremonies and deep meditation. You will be accompanied by two guides the entire time who will not only make sure everything goes smoothly, but also will give you more insight to the places visited. The tour will end at one of their homes where you will get to enjoy a traditional homemade lunch before being transferred back to your accommodation in Ubud.

Day 3: Ubud Free Day

Free at leisure. Enjoy you free day by chilling by the pool in your hotel, walking or cycling around the hotel can be good idea. So many places you can visit around Ubud such as museums, local market and Ubud Palace. You can also visit Yoga Barn for activity, which is close to your hotel.

Day 4: Ubud - Sanur via Beji Guwang Canyon

Today you will travel from Ubud to Sanur. On the way you will visit the hidden canyon of Beji Guwang, a river with a stone wall that is a stunning natural formation. Your tour ends in Sanur.
