Hvað er innifalið?
Paddleboarding:
Have you ever been on a Stand-Up paddleboard? It is FUN! We highly recommend that you go practise from the beach, where there is no waves and shallow water. In general, we recommend that you keep the paddleboard in shallow water, if you are new at this activity. But once you got it down, get information from your dive center on where to go.
Kayaking:
The island of Thulusdhoo is small, and could easily be paddled around. However, it does also have some of the best surfspots in the world, and you do not want to be caught surfing your kayak on these world famous waves. So again, make sure you get a good introduction of where to go, and what currents to look out for, before you jump in your kayak!
The Mangrove forest is recommended. You can sneak in really close on the wildlife.
Snorkeling:
There are so many different things you can see, snorkeling from the island of Thulusdhoo! If you go out from the long wooden pier, or the big rock boulders on the Northeast coast, you can often be so lucky to see the eagle rays fly by in formation. Especially around sunset, is a hectic time at this point.
For something different, try snorkeling in the little mangrove lagoon in the Southeast around sunset. If you move very slow, you might be able to get close to the small baby sharks hanging out in this area. (they are very shy)
Beaching:
Bikinis are absolutely okay at the beachfront, where suntaning beds and hammocks are up for grabs. We can recommend the food at Canopus guesthouse, and they have tables literally on the beach.
Sunsets:
Go around the corner from the dive center, and you will find yourself on a long stretch of land, running next to the ocean. This place is awesome for sunsets! Look for baby sharks in the water, go running or join a game of football with the locals.
